I joined Brex as an early engineer on the Bill Pay team, helping to bring the product to reality.

In 2022, I was promoted to Engineering Manager, leading a team of 8 engineers working on the core Budgets product in Brex's spend management offering.

My team has shipped a variety of features in the spend management space including onboarding and offboarding automations, FP&A insights, P-cards, and card authorization controls. I've helped to scale the product from 0 to over 1,500 customers, including the largest enterprise companies such as DoorDash, SeatGeek, and Coinbase.

Lead Software Engineer, 2018 — 2020

Senior Software Engineer, 2016 — 2018

I joined Basis as a full stack software engineer, working on integrating the DSP platform (Sitescout) the company had acquired into their existing Rails platform.

In 2018 I was promoted to TLM, where I lead a cross-functional team of 3 engineers, 1 PM, and 1 QA to continue shipping features and improvements to the platform.

Flickr

Frontend Engineer, 2014 — 2015

I joined Flickr as a frontend engineer, working on converting the most highly trafficked pages (Photostream, Faves, Albums) into a single page isomorphic app. I also rebuilt Flickr web embeds with a focus on compatibility and performance - driving a 20% increase in DAUs after launch.
